Making a difference to people through sport
Teachsport was established in 1999. Since then, it has grown considerably and is now a well-respected and professional company delivering Sports, Performing Arts and Healthy Lifestyle activities and events.
From small beginnings in a few local Lewisham schools, Teachsport are now delivering a wide variety of coaching and tutoring activities to over fifty schools in several London boroughs. Teachsport also manages and delivers commissioned holiday and evening programmes, focussing on a belief that young people should be enthused to become involved in ‘physical activity for life’. Teachsport work within the guidelines of the Government’s ‘Every Child Matters’ framework and achieve the aims of this endeavour by developing sports coaches with the most relevant skills, the best training and the necessary motivation.
